At Beverly Hills Hair Free Dallas, our team considers it a privilege to help clients lead their most authentic lives. By removing unwanted hair, we support our valued clients’ well-being and quality of life.
Do you have lots of experience treating transgender clients?
Absolutely! Our method is internationally recognized as the fastest way to achieve permanent results for transitioning clients with unwanted facial hair or those getting ready for surgery. Our pre-surgical hair removal method for MtF and FtM is the best way to get fast, pain-free, and permanent results in record time! In fact, if you are traveling internationally, our protocols make the process so smooth and simple, all you need to do is show up for treatment, and follow your customized treatment plan.
We also treat individuals who may have a history of medical conditions that contribute to their excess hair growth. In general, we care for the needs of people. And we do so with electrolysis – the only form of hair removal the FDA recognizes as a permanent option.
How does electrolysis compare to laser hair removal?
Lasers can be acceptable for some clients; however, it is important to remember certain things:
- As noted, lasers have not been proven to remove hair permanently. They can result in hair growing back less thick and less noticeable. However, they also largely require ongoing touch-up treatments or sessions. With electrolysis, you can express yourself freely and confidently for life – without the need to schedule costly maintenance treatments. So, many of our transgender clients find our services to be a great investment in themselves and a terrific value.
- Depending on your skin tone and hair color, you may be precluded from laser hair removal. By its very nature, electrolysis technology is also inclusive. Lasers are not for everyone. Unlike electrolysis, which targets the stem cells within each hair follicle, lasers target the melanin or pigment. This can be risky for individuals with melanated skin and light, blonde, or gray hairs, as the laser can have difficulty distinguishing between the melanin in the skin and the melanin in the hair. When this happens, there is a risk of the heat generated by the laser light/energy treating and burning the surrounding skin. Damage may also appear in persistent discoloration, areas of hypopigmentation, or hyperpigmentation that are lighter and darker than the surrounding intact skin, respectively.
- Even if you are an appropriate candidate for lasers, this technology may not be sufficient to get the results that you desire. For instance, it may not be enough to get the smooth look that you want to achieve on your face as you transition.
Will electrolysis take a long time and hurt?

We don’t use just any old type of electrolysis. We use an advanced technology called “multi-probe galvanic electrolysis.” This approach minimizes the time you spend in treatment, which adds considerably to the comfort and convenience of the process. True to its name, we use multiple probes instead of the conventional single probe to deliver therapeutic electrical impulses to the hair follicles. Since we use up to 32 probes inserted into the follicle during treatment, our electrologists can safely and effectively treat your unwanted hair up to 30 times faster than traditional electrolysis. We also use special techniques and products to support the utmost comfort, like pain management options and our calm balm, which was developed by an electrologist. It uses natural ingredients to promote speedy and predictable healing and eases any irritation.
Our team is also experienced in partnering with individuals who are undergoing gender reassignment surgery.
