A storied history
Alana’s passion for hair removal methods and electrology began 30 years ago. Upon graduating from the Berkowits School of Electrology in New York City and, later, the Baltimore International Skin Care Institute, Alana sharpened her business acumen by obtaining a business marketing degree at the University of Phoenix. Alana is a licensed electrologist who combines her passion for these technologies with an entrepreneurial spirit. Before founding BHHF’s flagship Beverly Hills location in 2011 and the Dallas office 10 years later, she was the founder and CEO of the Washington DC metro area Permanent Solutions.

Making the industry better
Alana’s career is defined by her relentless pursuit of cost-effective, pain-free, and precise hair removal technologies. She has dedicated decades to researching electrolysis modalities and temporary methods, from DIY gadgets to waxing. This considerable knowledge led to what would become ElectrologyTech™. Alana balances her leadership role in BHHF with her duties as CEO of a tech transfer firm specializing in developing advanced hardware and products that will support optimal treatment experiences. Its EPX16 is poised to transform multi-probe galvanic electrolysis, as this will be the fastest technology on the market in the future. Alana is not only elevating the industry through technology, but she also does so as a well-respected educator. Her online training provides opportunities for prospective electrologists and hair removal technicians. Alana takes a special interest in inspiring and empowering women through her many works in the field.
